Guided Tour of:
– University of Al Qaraouiyine (Qarawiyyine), Al Andalous Mosque,
Shrine Moulay Idriss, Mellah, Royal Palace
– Fez madinah (old town), dyers, coppersmiths, weavers, artisan workshops
– Protected and restored buildings by the Association pour la Dedensification et la Rehabilitation de la Medina de Fez (ADER)
Visit Centre Multidisciplinaire de Zouagha pour l’insertion des Femmes
Lunch or Dinner at Café Clock
MONDAY 17 SEPTEMBER – IFRANE & AZROU
Transport to Alkhawayn University in Ifraine (AUI) www.aui.ma
Meeting with President

Visit Ifrane and surrounding beautiful scenery with AUI Professors of Anthropology and Geography

Transport from Fez to Meknes
Visit Elderley People’s Home supported by BMS for many years
Guided Tour of:
Old Madinah, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, Moulay Ismail Prison,
Bassin Swani, Attic Moulay Ismael
Visit Meknes Olivier Agropole – academic and research centre for the development of the olive oil industry (part of the company that makes AICHA products)
Drive to Volubilis, Roman City of the 2nd/3rd century BC
Return to Fez via Shrine of Moulay Idriss and also via Moulay Yacoub
WEDNESDAY, 19 SEPTEMBER 2018 – FEZ
Morning: Complete activities in Fez (see first day above)
COSTS OF BMS PROGRAMME
£150 for 3 days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) to cover the cost of Guides, hire of coach/minibus, tips, any meal or coffee/tea breaks taken as a group if the cost per person is below Dh 150
£150 for 3 days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) as a donation to BMS charitable causes.
£50 on Wednesday to cover all of the above
Participants can participate in the whole programme or join in on particular day(s).
The cost will therefore be pro-rata for each day
All other expenses (flight, hotel, meals as a group above Dh 150 per person, drinks) paid individually directly with airline, hotel, restaurant etc
Bookings with airline & hotel made directly.
BMS has negotiated a very good deal with Hotel MENZEH ZALAGH (4 Star) in Fez for those who would like to stay there (although Participants can stay where they like). This hotel will act as our Base and Meeting Place.
